“We’re here because we want to be around people who recognize what’s going on in the world and we can actually do something to change it.” - attendees of The Climate Rally from Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

On Sunday April 25, The Climate Rally in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day was held on the National Mall in Washington DC.  One part concert and one part call-to-action by various groups championing efforts to save the planet.   Kiss My Country was there and brings you a gallery.

There are plenty of articles online documenting what went on including this one on the New York Times and this one on USA Today, so instead we”ll share some photo with notes. Enjoy!
